Abstract
A distribution-free simultaneous lower confidence region for an unknow n reliability function using lifetime censored data is suggested. The proposed construction is based on a generalization of the usual Kolmog orov-Smirnov distance. This procedure allows construction of a meaning ful confidence region in the neighborhood of the lifetime of the oldes t item obtained from a ''light'' censoring plan. Critical values ne fo r implementation are given.
