The In-Te phase diagram was refined in the composition range 0-60 at.
% Te. Our data confirmed the existence of the compounds In4Te3, InTe,
and In2Te3. No formation of In2Te,In3Te4, and In9Te7 was detected. Vap
orization processes in the In-Te system were studied by high-temperatu
re mass spectrometry. The partial pressures and partial molar enthalpi
es of vaporization for In and In2Te in the regions L-1 + L-2 + V and L
+ S(In4Te3) + V were determined in the temperature range 630-890 K.
