Abstract
Predictive validity is generally taken to he the prime validity that o ccupationally normed interest inventories should demonstrate. Such val idity is necessarily dependent on the capacity of an instrument to dif ferentiate between occupations. A comparison of two methods of differe ntiating is made, with one revealing superior results.
