Abstract
Thermal stability of Bi2Ca3-xSrxCo2Oy (0 < x < 2.5) solid solutions wa s studied at different oxygen partial pressures by thermogravimetry, c oulometry, resistivity measurements, and x-ray diffraction analysis. T he solid solutions decompose upon a decrease in y from 9 to 8.85; thei r thermal stability decreases with increasing x. The resistivity of th e materials correlates with their oxygen stoichiometry.
