Abstract
XRD studies of SbCl5-intercalated graphite show that, upon slow coolin g, the SbCl3 phase undergoes a transition from a quasi-liquid to a qua si-crystalline state (265-270 K). Rapid cooling causes a transition of SbCl3 to a quasi-amorphous state.
