Abstract
The microstructure of as-quenched, annealed, and etched aluminoborosil icate glasses containing 2 or 4 mol % Na2O was studied by small-angle x-ray scattering. All of the samples studied are found to be bidispers e. The porosity of glass containing 4 mol % Na2O is evaluated. The eff ect of annealing on the fractal structure of glass is examined.
