Abstract
Infrared absorption by mica produces an elastic wave that is detected by lead zirconate titanate (PZT) in intimate contact with the sample. The interferogram recorded with an FT-IR spectrometer at a mirror spee d of 0.070 cm/s does not contain a centre-burst at zero path differenc e.
