Abstract
Adsorption of IDA and NTA and their sodium salts on a gamma-alumina su pport has been investigated by transmission FT-IR. The results obtaine d imply, that the observed changes in the IR spectroscopic properties of the adsorbed chelates are mainly due to interaction of the chelate molecules with alumina hydroxyl groups.
