Abstract
The standard electric are generator was used to prepare Fullerenes sub stitutionally doped on the surface with boron and nitrogen. The materi al is a unique case of a molecular crystal of high symmetry, consistin g of molecules of extremely low C-s symmetry. FT-IR and FT-Raman spect ra of the C58BN were measured in the spectral region 2000-30 cm(-1) an d over a large temperature interval: 14-300 K.
