Abstract
A Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer was used as a broad-band sou rce to obtain magneto-optical rotation (MOR) spectra of semiconductor materials. Carrier concentrations obtained from the MOR data showed go od agreement with those obtained From conventional Hall measurements. This technique has been shown to be a powerful tool in the study of im purity and defect levels in semiconductors.
