Abstract
Diffuse reflectance and transmission infrared spectra of CO and NO ads orbed on a Co-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst are compared. It is shown that the two techniques give somewhat different results and some possible reasons for the differences between the transmission and diffuse reflectance s pectra are presented.
