Abstract
FT-IR spectrometry was used to perform evolved gas analysis from sampl es used in thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal a nalysis (DTA) techniques. In this study, we demonstrate the utility of such combined FT-IR/TGA/DTA techniques for identification of evolved gases from their infrared spectra and also for providing useful chemic al insight regarding the sample.
