Abstract
This paper discusses the application of FT-Raman spectrometry for inve stigating different biologically important molecules such as amino aci ds and proteins in both the solid and native states. The utility of FT -Raman spectroscopy for examining structural changes in biomolecules, resulting from environmental changes such as pH, temperature and chemi cal reactions is demonstrated.
