Phonon spectra of quaternary Hg1-x-yCdxMnyTe (x = 0-0.34, y = 0-0.14)
single crystals are investigated by means of FIR reflection in the spe
ctral range 30-400 cm(-1) and temperature range 5-300 K. It has been c
oncluded that manganese doping of definite concentration favors a more
perfect crystalline structure of the quaternary compound. (C) 1998 El
