Abstract
The conditions under which ions can be accelerated by free electrons ( holes) during chemical (ambivalent) diffusion in superionic conductors are discussed. The effects of acceleration on the diffusion coefficie nts of mobile and framework ions in superionic conductors and mobility of ions in common solids are considered.
