Abstract
A method of calculation of polarization state of resultant light wave, which is a superposition of fully polarized waves, is presented. A so lution which uses Jones formalism and complex-number plane description is illustrated graphically on complex-number plane. A simple algorith m is shown, making possible to find in graphical way the points, which represents a polarization state of coherent superposition of two pola rized waves with arbitrary amplitudes and phase difference between the m. This algorithm can be easily modified for superposition of more tha n two waves.
