Abstract
A Fourier transform spectrometer is used in combination with a Michels on interferometer to measure the coherence function. The dispersion of a sample located in the Michelson interferometer broadens the coheren ce function. The wavelength dependent dispersion of optical glasses ca n be determined with a mean accuracy of +/-2.10(-5) within a wavelengt h range of 0.71 mu M-3.0 mu m.
