Abstract
A new method of measurement to determine the geometric parameters of m illing machines with five axes is presented. These parameters include the misalignment between the swivel axis and the axis of rotation as w ell as the distance from the swivel axis to the upper side of the tabl e. We determine these parameters by adjusting a theoretical curve to a measured curve. The advantages of this method of measurement will be pointed out.
