YBa2Cu3O7-x/ferrimagnetic heterostructures were prepared by screen pri
nting onto a Y3Fe5O12 garnet film epitaxially grown on a Gd3Ga5O12 Sub
strate, followed by oxygen annealing. The superconductor powder was pr
epared by the nitrate route and doped with silver. The optimum heat-tr
eatment schedule involves short-term annealing at 930 degrees C, follo
wed by cooling with halts at 700 and 500 degrees C. The best heterostr
uctures show T-c(R=0) = 86 K.
