Abstract
The author discusses the concept of self-efficacy, one's confidence in task-specific capabilities, as a major dynamic in creative organizati onal change. She relates motivation for change, innovation, and nerv l earning/unlearning processes, to effective management leadership. The management responsibility in promoting stuff self-efficacy, is focused upon creating a culture and environment that increases self-confidenc e, offers successful work experiences, and organizes around teamwork. The author makes suggestions for staff training in entrepreneurial, th ought and behaviors that nourish self-efficacy.
