Ma. Dzhafarov, NEGATIVE PHOTOCONDUCTIVITY IN CD1-XZNXS FILMS PREPARED BY PRECIPITATION FROM AQUEOUS-SOLUTIONS, Inorganic materials, 34(9), 1998, pp. 860-862
Negative photoconductivity is studied in Cd1-xZnxS films 8-10 mu m thi
ck prepared on glass-ceramic substrates by precipitation from aqueous
solutions containing cadmium chloride, zinc chloride, thiourea, and a
complexing agent. The films were characterized by spectral, x-ray diff
raction, and chemical analyses. Under illumination, the photocurrent f
irst rises almost linearly with incident intensity and then saturates.
The results are interpreted in terms of a potential barrier for carri
er drift.
