Abstract
The purpose of this investigation was to examine whether perceptions o f instructor immediacy differed between students enrolled in conventio nal and distributed learning classrooms. Students enrolled in conventi onal and distributed learning classrooms did not perceive a significan t difference in instructor verbal immediacy, but they did perceive a s ignificant difference in instructor instructor immediacy.
