Abstract
The angular and lateral shifts for each angular component of super-Gau ssian monochromatic beams reflected from thin film are studied. The pa raxial approximation is applied to he central peak of the beam or to e ach secondary maximum included in the intensity distribution of the Fo urier transform domain, obtaining in the last case multiple non-specul ar effects. These non-specular effects are studied for differents supe r-gaussianity indexes and for each polarization state. Characterizatio n of the planar structure is achieved through the input impedance func tion that permit us to reduce the volumetric structure to one single s urface. The behavior of super-gaussian monochromatic beams under refle ction at such surface can be obtained as a function of the film parame ters.
