Abstract
A model for thin film PZT ferroelectric capacitors is presented. An ex pression for the switching current as a function of instantaneous valu es of polarization and voltage, that is not explicitly a function of t ime is proposed. We call this a time independent model. Hysteresis, no n-switching and switching current responses of these capacitors have b een simulated, showing a good agreement with the experimental data.
