Abstract
The double polyphosphate Rb2Mn(PO3)(4) (monoclinic cell, sp. gr. P2(1) /n, Z = 4; a = 7.810 Angstrom, b = 12.974 Angstrom, c = 11.302 Angstro m, beta = 102.13 degrees) was synthesized in molten polyphosphoric aci ds. This compound is isostructural with other M-2(+) M2+(PO3)(4) doubl e polyphosphates.
