Abstract
The Na2MoO4-MgMoO4-Cr-2(MoO4)(3) ternary system was studied by x-ray d iffraction and differential thermal analysis. The NaCr(MoO4)(2)-MgMoO4 phase diagram was mapped out. The ternary molybdates Na1 - xMg1 - xCr 1 + x(MoO4)(3) (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.3) a nd NaMg3Cr(MoO4)(5) were identified.
