Abstract
Sr(1-x)Ln(x)CuO(2) (Ln = Nd, Pr) infinite-layer superconductors were s ynthesized from the double oxides SrCuO2 and LnCuO(2) at high pressure s (3-5 GPa) and temperatures (700-800 degrees C). The structural and s uperconducting properties of these phases testify to the presence of o xygen vacancies in CuO2 layers.
