Abstract
Probability models are developed for two-man teams in best-ball events in golf. The multinomial distribution is used to develop the theoretical probabilities for possible team scores. Here each individual player is assigned a set of probabilities for making a certain score on each hole of an 18-hole round of golf. The two-man team results are compared with the 1980-1982 Bing Crosby Pro-Ams held in Monterey, California.
