Abstract
In this article, sue describe a procedure for teaching experimental de sign to students in the social sciences. By replicating Asch's (1946) and Kelley's (1950) classic studies on impression formation, students learn how to conduct experiments, analyze data, and evaluate the signi ficance of research. We provide instructions for implementing this str ategy in the classroom.
