The purpose of this study was to develop a valid and reliable question
naire to measure students' counseling needs at United Arab Emirates Un
iversity. A random sample of 348 students (267 females; 81 males) part
icipated in this study. Content, discriminant, and items total score c
orrelations as a means of validity were used. Internal consistency and
test-retest procedures were used to examine the 60-item questionnaire
reliability. The results of this study revealed that the questionnair
e is highly valid and reliable. Implications are discussed.
