Abstract
A Vander Lugt optical correlator implemented in a photorefractive BSO crystal is presented. It is operated in a non-degenerate four-wave mix ing arrangement. Then, a long term operation of the correlator is poss ible because the read-out process do not degrade the written-in filter . A transmission configuration is used and an external voltage is appl ied on the crystal allowing its operation in the drift mode.
