A study of the unique problems introduced by the coupling between cont
rol demands and vehicle dynamics for advanced ah-craft performing radi
cal maneuvers shows that the fluid/motion coupling depends critically
on the aircraft geometry and maneuver/time history. The goal of the ex
ploratory analysis is to provide the vehicle designer with increased i
nsight into the basic how physics that can lead to troublesome couplin
g effects between control input and vehicle dynamics.
