Abstract
Oxidation of YBa2Cu3O6+delta ceramics was studied as a function of pre hydration conditions. The oxidation rate is shown to depend on the moi sture content of the ceramics. Some of the prehydrated samples show an abrupt increase in weight during isothermal annealing in dry air.
