Abstract
The equilibrium composition-p(O2) diagram at 1270 K is mapped out, and the temperature dependence of p(O2) for a number of (Li0.5Fe2.5O4)(x1 ) (Cu0.5Fe2.5O4)(x2) (CuFe2O4)(1-x1-x2) spinel solid solutions at the low-oxygen boundary of the stability held is determined. A general rel ationship between oxygen pressure and temperature is obtained for the entire range of solid solutions, which enables one to synthesize desir ed compositions.
