La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 (LSCO) epitaxial films were grown on neodimium gallate
and strontium titanate substrates by laser ablation. The structure of
LSCO was found to be tetragonally distorted, with the c/a ratio depend
ent on oxygen stoichiometry. Room-temperature resistivity of the LSCO
films is 200 mu Omega cm The temperature dependence of resistivity exh
ibits metallic behavior. The obtained results demonstrate the feasibil
ity of using LSCO layers as electrodes in PbZr1-xTixO3 capacitor struc
tures.
