Abstract
Understanding the hydromechanical behavior of fractures is a fundament al research issue because of the need to understand the effects of hum an engineering in fractured rock masses. The research presented in thi s paper is based on the use of image processing to determine the relat ionships between fracture geometry and hydromechanical behavior.
