Abstract
The animal-welfare award for the promotion of good handling procedures for pigs at slaughterhouses, showed that the participants had develop ped good solutions for cooperation between farmer and abattoir, delive rance and animal handling. Measures for good handling were also advant ageous for quality assurance.
