The influence of the ambient temperature and different thermal conduct
ivities for axial and radial directions on the radial temperature diff
erence distribution along the crystal axis was investigated. It was fo
und that radial temperature difference distribution, which is a measur
e of curvature of the thermal held, is strongly affected by Blot numbe
r, and ambient temperature. The strong influence on the temperature di
stribution in growing crystal has temperature gradient in the vicinity
of the interface.
