Abstract
CdS thin films have been prepared from non-aqueous solvent using elect rodeposition technique. Na2S2O3, CdSO4 and EDTA (ethylene-diaminetetra -acetic acid tetrasodium salt) were dissolved in ethylene glycol (EG) and structural and optical properties of CdS films have been studied. The X-fay diffraction showed that CdS films are polycrystalline in nat ure, with single hexagonal phase. Optical absorption showed that bandg ap of CdS is 2.45 eV.
