The MIT Media Laboratory, Cambridge, Boston, USA, is developing smart networked environments that can help people in their homes, offices, a nd wizen mobile. The research is aimed at giving rooms, desks, and clo thes the perceptual, affective, and learning intelligence needed to be come active helpers.
