Abstract
A new system constituted of two identical iodine lasers pumped by a st abilized argon laser is proposed for a coherent transmission in fibre optics links. The phase-locked loop of one of the laser cavity mirrors mounted on a PZT shows that the precision of the determination of the cavity length is typically 0.1 nm limited by the mechanical vibration s of the package.
