Abstract
Rhodococcus (R.) equi has been reported as causative agent of granulom atous lymphadenitis in pig and cattle The causative role of R. equi in infections of cattle seems to be obvious, the role in infections of p ig remains unclear. The identification of this organism, could be perf ormed with cultural, biochemical and serological criteria.
