Abstract
Defects in high quality KTiOPO4 single crystals grown by the flux meth od have been investigated by X-ray topographic techniques using synchr otron radiation. In addition to the usual observation of growth bands, growth sectors and dislocations, inversion twin boundaries and a decr ease in the cell parameter c as a function of the distance from the cr ystal seed are reported.
