Abstract
The factor structure of the Charles F. Kettering Climate Scale (CFK) w as investigated with data from 351 junior high adolescents, Grades 7 t hrough 9, in two school campuses in the southwestern United States. St udents completed Part A, the General Climate Factors section of the CF K, in their classrooms. The primary and secondary factor structures ar e reported as are the Cronbach alpha reliability measures for scores o n the second-order structures. The higher order solutions suggest gene ralizations across the primary structures.
